Gosh, February is already here.
Last week I saw a wonderful solo quilt exhibit at the New Rochelle Public Library. The artist on exhibit was Leni Levenson Wiener.
I really liked her approach to composition, fabric choices, and light use of detail. I would recommend to anybody to check out her art, especially in person. My favorite was "Private World," I liked how the light is reflected off the background buildings.
I'm done with my Spring ("Aviv" in Hebrew) quilt, which took almost a year... pictures coming soon. Meanwhile, here is something for you .
This quilt, and two others of mine, will be in the show "Uncommon Threads." at the Lazarus Gallery at United Hebrew in New Rochelle.
