Winter vacation

It's been so cold I choose to share a photo from last summer's visit to Israel. In the background it is the exit to Beit-Oren. I spent many HAPPY vacations there on the Carmel mountain, sketching, etching, painting, and also itching (from mosquito bites.)
So Winter vacation is here (sigh of relief.) I should be glued to the sewing machine...
We are going to visit Syracuse this weekend. Hopefully it won't snow too much, and we'll be in Washington DC next week for our 30th Anniversary.
The quilt I'm working on now is about Spring, and Spring 09 you all know was very rainy grey one (Being a Sabra it felt more like winter.)
I wish you Happy holidays and a Happy New Year.
