This is Fall 2019,
I feel very lucky that I participated in 3 exhibitions simultaneously this month:
One was a group show of Ossining Artists:OAC: "Think Big" with my Quilt:"Preservation". It has a combination of traditional style quilting with free art quilting.
Second is my solo exhibit of 12 large works in Mount Kisco Library, Oct3-30, 2019.
Third is a FANE ( Fiber Art Northeast) group at the Mahopac Library:"Signature Style".
and another at Somers Library with "Alphabetica". so actually 4!

Summer is definitely here; hot, sweaty, mosquitos, but on the other hand the pleasure of enjoying beautiful flowers, and swimming !
I was so lucky this year to create new fiber art and to participate in several shows:
My quilt "Forrest Veil" was entered and accepted into the SAQA theme show "Musica", which will tour to some venues starting with the National quilt museum in Paduka in March 2020. I am so honored!
I will participate in the  Art show at Howland Center in Beacon NY this Aug 2020.

first year of retirement.

Hi,
It seems like my first year into retirement went by so fast!
I had many plans to travel and create new quilts. I feel I am lucky. I got to visit Tucson during the Gem Show which was great, and then traveled to Israel. In between I got to work on and complete some fun quilts.
Seeing my family and friends in Israel, hiking and seeing some amazing beauty in nature was so inspiring and filled my batteries with new ideas and energy.

My Own Town

My Own Town
I have been living in Ossining NY for many years, creating fiber art and connecting mostly with other fiber artists to enjoy this passion. Recently I have Joined Ossining Arts Council and discovered there are so many fantastic artists just in my back yard ,so to speak, how exciting!
I am participating in 3 different local shows as I am writing this.

This was so exciting to quilt during Chanukka, remembering 1st night of Channuka from my childhood. I believe it is Chanukka 1965. Celebrating freedom, tradition, family.

Fall is here .A new series of art quilts is growing:" Leaves and spaces".
One idea leads to another.
Another  fund raise for CCHS in honor of my daughter. It is a humbling experience. I am so thankful for all the people who have helped her in the past, and help her everyday.
